About Keiko

I was born and raised in Japan, and moved to England to study Visual Communication. My early fascination with the body as a subject for photography developed to include the capture of human form, movement, and portraiture. My collaborations with dancers and dance organisations launched my career as a photographer and graphic designer. I currently specialise in portraiture and editorial assignments, as well as working on my personal projects.

I am so thrilled with our lovely photographs. My mum was quite tearful looking through them! Normally I just feel uncomfortable and unhappy being photographed but I enjoyed her company and trusted Keiko, and that made it easy.
